BookSecurity uses limited tracking technologies within its mobile application. Unlike traditional websites, the BookSecurity App does not rely on browser cookies but instead uses device-based storage and embedded SDKs to support functionality, security, and performance.
This Cookie Settings notice explains what types of tracking technologies we use, their purposes, and how you can manage your preferences.

3. Third-Party Technologies
We may rely on trusted third-party providers that use their own tracking technologies, including:
Mapbox (mapping and location services)
Analytics providers (for usage insights and performance monitoring)
These providers process data in accordance with their own privacy policies.
Biometric data is processed solely for identity verification via the UAE Pass government platform. We do not store raw biometric templates; verification results are received from the UAE Pass API.
3.3 Payment Information
Client payments are processed securely via Stripe. We do not store full card numbers or CVV codes on our systems. Stripe acts as an independent data processor and is PCI-DSS compliant. Guard payouts are processed to the IBAN provided during registration.
3.4 Location Data
The App uses location data to facilitate assignment matching, guard navigation, and real-time deployment tracking. Location is collected when the App is in use during an active assignment. We use Mapbox for mapping services. You can withdraw location permission at any time via your device settings, though this may limit Platform functionality.
3.5 Usage & Analytics Data
We collect technical and usage data to maintain and improve the Platform, including:
Device type, operating system, and app version
Crash reports and error logs
Feature usage patterns and session data
IP address and approximate geographic region

We retain records of communications you send to our support team at support@booksecurity.app and any in-app messages relating to assignments.

As the BookSecurity Platform operates via a mobile application, tracking settings are managed through your device rather than a browser cookie banner.
You can control or limit tracking by:
Adjusting device privacy settings
Resetting your advertising identifier
Disabling location services
Restricting app permissions (e.g., analytics or tracking)
Please note that disabling certain permissions may impact the functionality of the Platform.
